Style: Aegean Boho Cool

Casa Cook Rhodes

The adults-only policy keeps the whole place feeling like a well-kept secret, a boho hideaway where golden hour cocktails stretch into dinner and dinner stretches into staying at the bar far later than planned.

Style: Aegean Boho Cool

Description

In the village of Kolymbia, with mountains behind and the Aegean glinting somewhere ahead, this adults-only boutique hotel wears its beauty quietly. The architecture is earthy and unhurried; stone-clad suites, shaded verandas, natural textures in terracotta and linen that feel more curated home than hotel. Every one of the 119 rooms comes with its own private veranda and pool access, whether that’s a secluded plunge pool for two or a shared lagoon where the mood drifts somewhere between social and sleepy. The design leans into bohemian minimalism with real conviction: handcrafted details, clean lines, organic materials that invite you to kick off your shoes and stay. The Loft Suites, with their split-level layout and private terraces, are made for couples who want space to stretch out and nowhere they need to be. For the ultimate privacy, the Premium Villas -newly completed in 2024- come with their own pool and walled garden, an entirely separate world within the hotel.

Food

Dining revolves around the Kitchen Club, a relaxed, open-air gathering spot where Greek and wider Mediterranean flavours come out in share-style plates — the kind of meal that turns into a two-hour conversation without anyone noticing. Lighter lunches and seafood bites happen at the Olive Restaurant & Bar, where cocktails appear at your sun lounger if you ask nicely (and sometimes if you don’t). The breakfast spread earns consistent praise from guests: generous, fresh, and the kind of thing that makes you rearrange your morning plans. Half board is considered excellent value, with a three-course dinner included each night.

Spa

The spa draws from Ayurvedic traditions and feels genuinely therapeutic rather than decorative. It includes an indoor heated pool, seven private treatment rooms, and a menu that ranges from a deeply calming Shirodhara — warm herbal oil flowing steadily onto the forehead — to a Korean Head Spa treatment for something a little more unexpected. Yoga happens on an open-air terrace each morning with an in-house instructor, guided hikes to Tsambika Monastery are available for those who want their endorphins earned, and the gym is open around the clock. Reviews consistently single out the spa staff as warm and highly skilled.

Environment

The setting is one of the hotel’s strongest cards. Tsambika Mountain forms a dramatic backdrop to the pools, the low-slung stone buildings blend into the hillside, and the whole place has a quietness that larger resorts rarely manage. White Rock Beach is an 850-metre walk away; the trails of Seven Springs are six kilometres out. Rhodes Old Town and the whitewashed village of Lindos (Byzantine, beautiful, worth every minute of the thirty-minute drive) are both easily reachable by car or taxi. The hotel itself is tucked away from the busier tourist drag, which is precisely the point.
