Style: Cycladic Calm Luxe
Paros has something Mykonos quietly lost: actual quiet. Summer Senses sits on the island’s eastern coast in Logaras, away from the crowds, arranged like a small whitewashed village terracing down a gentle hillside toward the Aegean. A hundred rooms and suites, all with private terraces, marble bathrooms, Marshall bluetooth speakers and Nespresso machines. Even the entry-level rooms hold their own. Punda Beach is a two-minute walk from the gate. Naxos sits on the horizon. The reflection pool catches it all.
Food
Gaia handles breakfast and casual dining, and the breakfast buffet is genuinely one of those meals guests keep bringing up unprompted. Greek-certified, fresh, generous. In the evening, Galazia Hytra takes over: a collaboration with Michelin-starred Hytra in Athens, serving creative Greek cuisine under open sky. The Hydor Pool Bar and Irida Lounge fill every gap in between.
Spa
The Anassa Spa by Idolo is for in-house guests only, no day visitors, no walk-ins. Its treatments draw from Mediterranean traditions and local character, combining skincare, bodywork and wellness in a setting that’s quietly serious about what it does. The gym next door is, for a resort spa, unusually well-equipped.
Environment
The property feels like a small luxury village with distinct neighbourhoods. The main pool end has social energy; the private pool suites at the other end have almost none. The kitchen garden feeds the restaurants. The sea is everywhere. Parikia and Naoussa are reachable by car, and renting one is recommended if you want to explore, though expect to feel less urgency about it than you planned.
